According to Jackson police, a man is wanted after his mother was found beaten to death on Carver Street.
The incident happened around 11:40 a.m. in the 900 block of Carver Street.
Detectives learned that 63-year-old Louise Banks-Tornes had been physically assaulted at this location. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Her son, Jerry Banks was identified as the suspect in the case. A murder warrant has been issued for Banks. He is considered dangerous and if anyone knows his whereabouts they are asked to contact Law Enforcement.
