Jackson family asks for help finding veteran missing since Nov. 1

Therese Apel

Have you seen Kenneth Brown? He has been missing since November 1.

The family of a missing Air Force Veteran is reaching out to the public to ask for help finding him.

Kenneth Brown was reported missing on November 1 after last being seen on the I-55 Frontage Road just yards from the Byram city limits, putting the case in Jackson Police Department’s jurisdiction.

Brown was wearing a light gray T-shirt and blue jeans when he was last seen on Halloween. Family members told police he may have believed someone was after him. He has a condition that impairs his judgement, they said.

He is around 5’8″ and weighs about 210 pounds, family members say. He has two tattoos, one that says “One Love,” and the other that says “Only God Can Judge Me.”

The family asks that if you see him, don’t try to apprehend him yourself. Instead, contact your local authorities.

If you know anything about this case, please contact Marie Catchings Brown on Facebook, or Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234.

A Silver Alert has not been issued. Silver Alerts can only be issued when the investigating agency fills out and sends the paperwork to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

We have reached out to JPD and will update with developments.
