According to Rankin County Coroner David Ruth, Keigan Norwood died on Tuesday as a result of the wounds he sustained in the ATV wreck.

The Rankin County Sheriff’s Department issued information on the wreck Tuesday as well. On Sunday afternoon, the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about an accident involving a motor vehicle and an ATV on Rehobeth Rd in Pelahatchie. Deputies arrived to find two juvenile occupants of the ATV critically injured. AirCare was called for and transported both juveniles to the hospital. The accident is currently under investigation.

After a large number of inquiries into how to donate blood for two child victims of an ATV accident in Rankin County, Mississippi Blood Services sent texts today to help people do just that.

Lou Dittus and Keigon Norwood were injured in a four-wheeler accident over the weekend. Both were taken from the scene to Children’s of Mississippi in Jackson.

Keigon needs A+ blood donations to stabilize his blood pressure, officials said.

Norwood’s family told WJTV that anyone with A+ blood can donate at Lowe’s in Greenville, Mississippi, from 12-4 p.m. today.

Meanwhile, according to MBS, anyone not local to Greenville can donate at any MBS Center or Blood Drive using codes Keigan: EJ35 & Myleigh: EJ34. Use this link to find a location near you.
