Gulfport Police are asking for the public’s help in getting information about a shooting that happened at Emerald Pines Apartments in Gulfport early Tuesday morning.
The altercation left one man dead at the scene of the crime, and a woman is fighting for her life at a local hospital. The two victims were siblings.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer told WLOX News the legal identity of the person killed was Brushawn McClam. The 27-year-old identified herself as a woman and used the name Shawmayne, family members told the TV station.
Gulfport Police say both victims were shot multiple times inside an apartment just after midnight.
