At approximately 12:30 PM Wednesday, Engine 6, Rescue 2, Engine 1, and Command 1 were dispatched to a house fire on Airdale Drive.
When firefighters arrived, they encountered heavy flames venting through the roof and windows.
Fire personnel surrounded the structure, deploying large quantities of water to suppress the blaze. After knocking down the fire, firefighters entered the residence to continue suppression efforts.
The home was declared a total loss, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
