Steven is one of those dogs that most people tend to walk right by when they get to the shelter. He is initially shy with new people, which causes people to think there is no connection when they couldn’t be more wrong!
Poor Steven is begging for someone to give him a chance, sit with him, and have the patience to help him come out of his shell.
He has been at the Copiah Animal Shelter for far too long. It would only take someone giving him a chance to fall in love with this sweet boy.
Steven is a lab mix. He is 2 years and 10 months and loves other dogs!
Steven was found as a stray by local police officers in Copiah County. Shelter workers said that you could tell he didn’t know the love of a human until he came to the shelter.
With a little love and encouragement, Steven has come out of his shell a little more every day. The shelter is confident that he will continue to prosper, especially when he finds his forever family.
Steven is neutered and up to date on his shots! All that he is missing is his special family or person and a home to call his own.
His adoption fee is $125. If you want to meet Steven, email copiahanimalshelter@yahoo.com.
