According to WLBT, two people were shot at a Jackson park Wednesday night while playing basketball.
The shooting happened at Hico Park in north Jackson on Watkins Drive.
Jackson police told WLBT that a 19-year-old man and woman who are cousins, were injured and taken to the hospital.
As the cousins were leaving, they got into their vehicle and a black Honda parked next to them.
Bullets then began flying at their vehicle, striking them in the legs.
WLBT reports that there were at least 15 shell casings around the vehicle.
There is no suspect information yet.
