Convicted Felon Arrested for Weapon Possession During Oxford Traffic Stop

The Oxford Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop on Highway 7 near Highway 30, which led to the arrest of 48-year-old Jason Hyde, of Holly Springs, MS.

During the stop, officers discovered that Hyde, a convicted felon, was in possession of a weapon.

Hyde was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.

Following his arrest, Hyde was brought before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for an initial bond hearing, where he was issued a $10,000 bond.
