On June 18, deputies responded to reports of shots fired in Pattison Mississippi.
A gunshot wound victim had been transported to the Claiborne County Medical Center by private vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, 29-year-old Bryant Eggleston, had died from his injuries.
The suspect was identified as 34 year-old Antonio Nicholas.
Surveillance footage showed Antonio Nicholas pulling up in a blue Chevy Tahoe and firing at least two rounds at Bryant Eggleston.
Eggleston was sitting on the passenger side of a blue Nissan Maxima near the gas pump in front of Pattison Mini Mart.
Nicolas has been charged with First Degree Murder and Convicted Felon with a Firearm.
Today Nicolas had his initial appearance, and his bond was denied. This case has been bound over to the next Grand Jury.
