Mayor Lumumba, city leaders, and Keep Jackson Beautiful, along with hundreds of community volunteers, made an effort Saturday to clean up the city of Jackson.

The campaign is called “Stop Trashing Jackson”.
City leaders and volunteers, along with Keep Jackson Beautiful went to five locations across the city.
They worked to clean up trash and set up signs that remind people to keep litter cleaned up across the city.
“Thanks to you, we will continue to pick up trash one piece at a time and spread the message that trashing Jackson will not be tolerated. The City of Jackson extends its great appreciation to everyone who participated in this event!”
