In celebration of National Hunger Action Month, Blackburn Middle School was treated to a memorable culinary experience on Wednesday, courtesy of Celebrity Chef Nick Wallace and US Foods.
Hundreds of students enjoyed a specially crafted menu that not only filled their bellies but also brought joy and culinary inspiration to the school community.
The event, designed to raise awareness about hunger and inspire healthier eating habits, saw Chef Wallace serving delicious meals and engaging with the scholars, leaving a lasting impression.
Known for his passion for Southern cuisine and commitment to giving back, Wallace brought both flavor and excitement to the lunchroom.
“Chef Wallace and US Foods filled bellies, created smiles, and inspired culinary awareness among our students,” said a representative from the school. “We are grateful for their generosity and for making this event so special.”
