On Tuesday, September 5th, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Capitol Police responded to a call at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
When officers arrived, they were made aware of a possible murder-suicide attempt inside the hospital.
Police said that someone who was believed to be visiting a patient shot the patient then went into another room and shot themself.
The patient is in critical but stable condition.
