Capitol Police officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop near Woodrow Wilson and Martin Luther King Drive when the vehicle failed to comply, leading to a brief pursuit.

According to Public Information Officer Bailey Martin, the fleeing vehicle hit three other cars near State Street and Fortification Street.

24-year-old Jacob Robinson was arrested at the scene without further incident. He faces charges of felony fleeing and possession of a controlled substance with a firearm.

One driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. No other injuries were reported.
