A Brandon man named Kenneth Petty (AKA Bubba) has been arrested again on charges involving children. He has been arrested at least two times other times before this arrest.
35-year-old Petty was arrested October 4th by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office for Exploitation of Children. His bond has been set at $500,000.
PREVIOUS ARRESTS:
Petty was arrested July 27th by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department for three counts of Gratification of Lust and his bond was set at $150,000. He bonded out August 2nd.
According to Byram Police Chief David Errington, Petty was arrested in April of 2016 for Gratification of Lust on a 9-year-old victim.
The Hinds County DA’s office would not prosecute due to lack of physical evidence, and he was not convicted in this case.
