The Brandon Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its first official event since its recent formation. The event is the Inaugural Brandon LEO & Fire Benefit Crawfish Boil. The event will be held Friday April 21, 2023, from 2pm – 6pm, in the parking lot of Stevens Law Group, PLLC, at 190 Gateway Drive.
The event is free for all Brandon Police Department personnel, Rankin Sheriff’s Office personnel, Rankin County Emergency Operations Center staff, Brandon Fire Department personnel, sponsors, and City of Brandon officials. The Brandon Chamber will have several hundred pounds of crawfish cooked on-site, along with potatoes, corn, sausage, and various drinks with live music. In the event of inclement weather, there will be a large tent setup, and to-go boxes will be available for all the invited guests.
“This seemed like a perfect first official event for our new Brandon Chamber. We want to show thanks to our area’s first responders, and provide some great fellowship, food, and fun for them, whether on duty or off duty. We are saying thanks for making our community safe and a great place to live”, says Brandon Chamber President, Lance Stevens. “Brandon is known as the 2nd safest city in our state, and a big part of that is our first responders.”
The Inaugural Brandon LEO & Fire Benefit Crawfish Boil is a private event, by invitation only, for the LEO & Fire personnel, as well as City of Brandon officials and sponsors. Over 20 local businesses have helped sponsor the event.
