According to WLOX, a high school senior in Biloxi died tragically in a wreck just days ahead of his senior graduation.
The accident happened on May 12, around 1: p.m. when a call came in to Biloxi Communications Center saying there was a motorcycle crash on Sunkist Country Club Road.
WLOX reports that Biloxi patrol officers and first responders responded. The victim had life-threatening injuries and was flown to an out-of-area hospital to be treated.
He passed away from his injuries on May 17th.
The Biloxi School District identified the motorcycle accident victim as senior Damian Aguas.
Biloxi Public Schools stated,
“It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Biloxi High School senior Damian Aguas. By all accounts, Damian’s heart was as big as his personality and he will be missed by so many. Please keep his family, friends, teachers, and our Biloxi High School Band in your thoughts and prayers.”
The Biloxi Police Department is investigating the crash.
