WLOX reports that a man is wanted for murder by the Gulfport Police Department.
40-year-old Charles Martel Oatis was shot and killed Monday morning and police are now looking for the gunman.
The suspect is Antwon Duane Williams and he has an active warrant for murder.
He is described as a 32-year-old male, 5′06″ tall, weighing about 146 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
According to WLOX, at 1:21 a.m. Monday morning, officers responded to InTown Suites hotel on Highway 49 after a call about a shooting.
Oatis was found deceased with a single gunshot wound.
Police said that they learned that Williams and Oatis got into an argument when Williams got out a gun and shot Oatis.
