Anthony Moore, the new police chief of Terry was sworn into office Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Terry City Hall.
Chief Moore was a former Jackson Police Department investigator. He also worked as the Jackson interim police chief for several months after Lee Vance retired. He served until the Jackson mayor appointed James Davis as Jackson Police Chief in 2018.
Anthony Moore worked in Terry as the assistant chief for more than a year before becoming the chief of police.
He replaced Michael Ivey after he retired.
