On Friday, a Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department deputy was patrolling the area of Second Ave. and Hwy 11 in Picayune.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a bicycle being ridden by Christina Miles, 38, to check what appeared to be improper equipment.

During the interaction and investigation, authorities say the deputy conducted a lawful pat down of Miles and found Miles to allegedly be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Miles was arrested on charges possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.

Miles was transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility where she was booked.
