Jones County Deputies found quite a surprise when responding to a domestic disturbance incident.

Early in the morning on July 7th, Jones County Sheriff’s Deputies and Narcotics Agents responded to a house on Township Road.

While investigating, deputies found an alligator that was about 2 feet long living in a bath tub inside the home.

A game warden with Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries and Parks responded and took possession of the alligator which was relocated and humanely released back into the wild.

The inital domestic disturbance is still under investigation.
