Two teens are in custody after a series of crimes committed across southwest Mississippi.

After several vehicle burglaries and a stolen vehicle in the East Lincoln Community, Lincoln County investigators put their heads together with Lawrence County and Walthall County and isolated 19-year-old Dylan Guy, of Jayess, as a suspect in the crimes. They arrested him at a home in Lawrence County on charges relating to vehicle burglaries in both Lincoln and Walthall counties.

After gathering further information, Lincoln, Walthall, and Pike County deputies arrested Ja’Quan Sibley, 18, of McComb, in connection to burglaries in Walthall and Lincoln County.

Property was recovered in the Pike County area that belonged to victims in the Lincoln County burglaries, officials said.

With help from the general public, the multiple law enforcement agencies worked thru out the night to solve these crimes and attempt to recover property, according to Lincoln County.

Both suspects will now face burglary charges in Lincoln, Walthall, and possible other counties as the investigation continues.

In Lincoln County, they both are charged with 7 counts of auto burglary, 7 counts of conspiracy to commit a crime each. Both are currently in Walthall County Jail with holds for Lincoln County.
