According to WLBT, a 75-year-old man was airlifted after a propane explosion in Amite County on Wednesday.
The victim was flown to a Louisiana burn center in Baton Rouge where his condition is unknown.
Neighbors said they heard a loud boom around 6:30 a.m. at an RV on Mt. Pleasant Road in Gloster.
Amite County Emergency Management Agency Director Grant McCurley told WLBT that the explosion had completely destroyed the RV structure that was feet away from a pickup truck.
The 75-year-old victim was found inside the truck when crews arrived.
