Authorities in the Tupelo area are searching for a suspect who appears to be a porch pirate.
On Thursday, Tupelo Police Department took a report of a person stealing packages from a home in the downtown area. The residents of the home said a suspect in a tan Dodge Charger parked down the street and walked to the home.
The suspect then took packages off the front porch and left in the tan Charger.
Police say the alleged porch pirate could be charged with grand larceny. Authorities are asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477).
