A man was shot while sitting on his porch in Jackson Thanksgiving day.
The Jackson Police Department says the shooting occurred on Overstreet Avenue.
Chief Deputy Deric Hearn said the victim was shot multiple times by someone driving down the street.
The victim is said to be in stable condition.
