Arrest made in year-old Jackson homicide
Jackson Police have arrested a suspect wanted in a 2020 homicide. Montrell Smith was charged with the murder of Austin Green, 15, who was reported missing from Byram in September of last year. Green’s body was recovered days later at 3905 Thomas Catchings Drive. Smith was also charged with Armed Robbery of a Business.
