25-year-old woman shows up at Jackson hospital with gunshot wound, later dies
Jackson Police are investigating a Monday shooting that occurred at an unknown location. 25-year-old Melanie Groves was shot multiple times and pulled up to Merit Health Hospital where she collapsed outside of her vehicle. Groves was transported UMMC where she later died. No suspects, motive or location of the incident are available at this time.
