Days after a Natchez man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing an MHP trooper, two additional men have been sentenced.
Treyon Washington and CDarrius Norman pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact and will serve a total of 35 years behind bars for the murder of Lt. Troy Morris.
Lt. Troy Morris was driving a mail truck for the postal service when he had a flat tire.
Between calling for assistance and assistance arriving, Lt. Morris was shot to death in his truck on the side of U.S. 61 in Jefferson County by Damion Whittley.
Whittley pleaded guilty to depraved heart murder and received the maximum sentence of 40 years behind bars.
