According to WLBT, an 18-year-old in Lexington was shot in the chest.
Police Chief Charles Henderson said the incident happened at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday on Rathell Road in a residential area.
18-year-old Tashaun Colbert was walking in the area with another young man before the incident.
He was found dead with a single gunshot wound to th chest.
WLBT reports that his body was sent for a state autopsy. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
