According to Vicksburg News, a 17-year-old was arrested for a murder that happened over the weekend.

Albert Jones III was charged with first-degree murder and four counts of Aggravated Assault.

His bond was set at $500,000 for the murder charge and $100,000 for each of the aggravated assault charges, totaling $900,000.

The murder happened Saturday at the Azalea Apartments on Blossom Lane. Vicksburg News reports that police were called at 2:00 a.m. about individuals who had possibly been shot. When deputies arrived, they found a group of people in a the apartment parking lot.

After further investigation, deputies found that three people had been shot. A man and a woman were shot in the leg, and 21-year-old Keon Williams was shot in the leg and head.

The three victims were taken to UMMC and Williams died.
