According to a report made by the Vicksburg Daily News, a high-speed chase along Interstate 20 lead to a man being arrested

The pursuit started in Ridgeland and ended in Madison Parish on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a multi-agency effort including Madison County, Hinds County, and Warren County, and Madison Parish in Louisiana.

The suspect was allegedly involved in a domestic altercation in Ridgeland which caused him to flee from authorities.

The suspect was driving a black Corvette and reports say he was armed.

Warren County Sheriff’s deputies blocked all exits to prevent the chase from entering onto county or city roadways, and Madison Parish authorities deployed a spike strip.

It is uncertain if the spike strip is how the suspect was captured.

The suspect, described as a Black male, has been taken into custody in Louisiana.
