An arrest has been made in another weekend shooting at a gas station in Jackson.

Jackson police tell WLBT that Corinthian Roberson, 25, has been arrested and charged with murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle after he allegedly shot Brianna Winters in the neck as she sat in her car at the Valero on Cooper Road Saturday morning.

Authorities say the victim was in the driver seat of her car with a gunshot wound to the left side of her neck. She died at the scene.

WLBT reports that officials said the shooting may have been over a gun sale that went bad. Roberson was allegedly there to buy a gun from Winters and when she didn’t produce it, he allegedly shot her with his own weapon.

The suspect went to the gas station to purchase a gun from the victim. He never got the gun and ended up shooting the victim in the neck with his own weapon before leaving, Hearn said.
