Brandon Police are trying to identify suspects and a vehicle involved in some auto burglaries Tuesday.

A release from Brandon PD says at 9:52 Tuesday, the Brandon Police Department responded to a report of an auto burglary outside of a business on Professional Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a total of three vehicles had been burglarized in the parking lot.
Video surveillance shows the suspects drove into the lot around 7:58 a.m. and backed into a parking spot. The suspects sat for several minutes, watching vehicles as they parked and the owners entered the business. One suspect then got out and broke the windows of three different vehicles to gain entry, stealing items from within each vehicle.

The suspect vehicle appears to be a newer model Jeep Cherokee, with tinted windows and chrome alloy rims. The front windshield of the vehicle is tinted, obscuring the driver’s features. The vehicle appeared to be occupied by a driver and a second occupant who got out and broke into the vehicles. A witness described the driver as a possible black male with longer hair, possibly dreads.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward.
