A Brookhaven man has died in a crash on I-55 Tuesday morning.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the northbound side of I-55 in Lincoln County near mile marker 48.
A 2001 Chevrolet pickup driven by 73-year-old Walter Robinson of Brookhaven, traveled north on Interstate 55 when it collided with a 2018 BMW passenger car driven by 51-year-old Edward Johnson of Picayune, who was also headed north.
Walter Robinson received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
